GRAIN SPAWN, 1 KG
Grain spawn stored in grains is easy to transfer to substrates. This is a quick way to inoculate existing straw or wood chip substrates with mushrooms; however, it is not suitable for inoculating and cultivating them in logs.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Where to inoculate? Mix the grain spawn into sterilized substrates, such as hardwood sawdust or straw. Without a substrate, mushrooms will not fruit.
- How to prepare? Unfold the top of the bag to allow airflow immediately after receipt. Ensure that the filter patch is unobstructed to help the organism breathe and continue thriving.
- Where to store the cultures? Maintain temperatures between 13-24°C. Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisten regularly, preventing it from getting too moist. High CO2 levels can reduce yields and halt growth.
What’s in the UNGU box?
Inside, you’ll find a pre-colonized substrate block, a humidity bag, and a short growing guide. It’s all packed conveniently and ready for your first harvest.

How to open it properly?
Tear open the box lid where marked. Then, using a clean knife, cut an X-shape into the plastic packaging at the same spot. The block is ready to grow – keep it in the same position as in the box.

Care tips
Mist the block with clean water 2–3 times per day. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts – mushrooms prefer a cool, bright, and humid environment.

Storage tips
If you’re not ready to start growing yet, keep the kit in the fridge (+1 to +5 °C) for up to one month. Important: do not remove it from the bag and store it horizontally.
