Reishi, due to its medicinal properties of strengthening the immune system and improving sleep quality, is also known as the “immortality mushroom.” It is itself hard to finish off. Although it grows slowly (1–3 months), it requires little maintenance.
Its taste is bitter, so in medicinal teas or broths it is mixed with honey. The bitterness is caused by triterpenes, which are used in pharmaceuticals for treating cancer, diabetes, vascular diseases, and inflammations (especially skin conditions).

This medium-sized Reishi Mushroom Kit is perfect if you want sizeable flushes. Known as the “immortality mushroom,” Reishi is famous for its immune-boosting properties and its ability to improve sleep quality. Although you’ll see the first mushrooms appear after 5-9 days, it requires little maintenance and time. After 1 to 3 months of setup, you can start harvesting your mushrooms, which are ideal for medicinal teas or broths. Each kit guarantees at least one full yield.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR REISHI MUSHROOM KIT?
- No misting: This mushroom does not need to be watered or moistened!
- Temperature: Keep the room at 21°C, and away from direct sunlight. Find a spot that is free from drafts and not too dry.
- Multiple harvests: With consistent care, your kit may produce up to two to three harvests.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
Your kit contains:
- Fully colonized nutrient block: A substrate made from hardwood sawdust, wheat bran, and water, pre-colonized with mycelium. Ready for cultivation—no inoculation needed.
- Humidity bag: The block is packed inside a humidity bag to maintain moisture and prevent contamination.
- Durable box: A funky box that holds everything together and is easy to store.
UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Open the top of the box.
- Unfold the plastic in a way that frees the bag’s filter opening.
- Allow it to fill with air.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
If you’re not ready to start growing right away, store the kit:
- At room temperature: For up to 2 weeks.
- In the refrigerator (4-6°C): For up to 1 month.
Prolonged storage may cause mushrooms to begin sprouting, slightly reducing the yield.

How to open it properly?
Tear open the box lid where marked. Then, using a clean knife, cut an X-shape into the plastic packaging at the same spot. The block is ready to grow – keep it in the same position as in the box.
Care tips
Mist the block with clean water 2–3 times per day. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts – mushrooms prefer a cool, bright, and humid environment.
Storage tips
If you’re not ready to start growing yet, keep the kit in the fridge (+1 to +5 °C) for up to one month. Important: do not remove it from the bag and store it horizontally.
