Sterile Grain, 1 kg
20,99 €
Sterile Grain Spawn for Mushroom Cloning. The mixture consists of hydrated, nutrient-rich, organic oat grains. This blend ensures optimal growth conditions for mycelium cloning or its transfer from a liquid medium. The bag is equipped with a self-healing injection port, making it very easy to transfer spores or mycelium using a syringe. The 0.2-micron filter patch protects against contamination and allows the mycelium to breathe.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- How to inoculate?
To inoculate the grain bag, simply inject your spore or culture syringe through the port in a sterile location.
Use clean hands and protective gloves to reduce contamination. Avoid using an entire syringe to avoid excessive moisture.
It is best to wait a minimum of 1 week after arrival before injecting grain bags to ensure they were not compromised during transit. - How to colonize?
Allow your bag to colonize in a cool location out of direct sunlight. The temperature for incubation should be between 13°C and 24°C.
You’ll notice the white mycelium growing outward from the injection point. When it has grown three to four inches,
you should, without opening the bag, carefully break up the colonized grain and mix it into the uncolonized grain.
This will speed up the colonization process. - When will your spawn be ready?
When the bag is completely white with mycelium, your spawn is ready to use. This may take a couple of weeks
to a month or more depending on the species and vigor of your culture. - Where to store?
Grain bags should be stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight. No refrigeration is necessary.
They can also be stored for several months before use.
What’s in the UNGU box?
Inside, you’ll find a pre-colonized substrate block, a humidity bag, and a short growing guide. It’s all packed conveniently and ready for your first harvest.

How to open it properly?
Tear open the box lid where marked. Then, using a clean knife, cut an X-shape into the plastic packaging at the same spot. The block is ready to grow – keep it in the same position as in the box.

Care tips
Mist the block with clean water 2–3 times per day. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts – mushrooms prefer a cool, bright, and humid environment.

Storage tips
If you’re not ready to start growing yet, keep the kit in the fridge (+1 to +5 °C) for up to one month. Important: do not remove it from the bag and store it horizontally.
